Lowdermilk Family Farm is located in Whynot, NC, right outside of Seagrove. Our farm consists of 30 acres; 14 acres of pasture, a 3 acre hayfield and 13 acres are wooded. My father and I bought this property 28 years ago, and my parents have been instrumental in getting this operation off the ground. Their encouragement and love has enabled me to follow this dream, but financial support has been very crucial as well. Our farm operation and practices include: All pasture raised pork is “free range” from start to finish. Our hogs are given NO antibiotics, NO growth hormones and NO medicines. We make our own feed! There are NO additives in our feed. We maintain an all local grain feed; corn, wheat, barley and soymeal, all sourced from local farmers, with NO additives.
